CharityApple Services CharityApple not only provides the opportunity for people to donate to causes they care about but also acts as an information portal which helps to facilitate the placement of volunteers through referrals to the relevant organisations. The Site seeks to match your interests in pursuing volunteering with similar opportunities to participate in volunteering activities offered by not-for-profit organisations. Where such similarities exist we will provide the information you provide to one or more not-for-profit organisations. Those organisations will then contact you directly and it is the responsibility of you and the not-for-profit organisation to determine whether you both wish to pursue the volunteering opportunity. Information on Placements All literature is correct to the best of CharityApple's knowledge. Privacy/Data Protection Your privacy is important to us. Our ongoing commitment to the protection of your privacy is essential to maintaining the relationship of trust that exists between CharityApple and all of our users. Details you provide on this site will not be used by us for any other purpose than stated below and will not be transferred to third parties other than those mentioned below. How We Use Information Please be aware that, to the extent required to provide our services, we share your Information with volunteers, nonprofit organizations, or our Partners, as applicable: The information contained in a volunteer's application or donation form will be used by CharityApple or the relevant charity to make the necessary checks as to your suitability to be a volunteer for that organization When we do make such a transfer we will endeavor to ensure that the information is only seen by those needing to see it. We use return email addresses/contact details provided to help facilitate the volunteering process We will also be retaining information about you and/or your transaction through CharityApple. Such information will be for our use only in maintaining our records. By supplying the information requested you consent to our processing the personal information for the above purposes. Limitation of Liability You agree that we will not be liable or responsible for any loss or damage of any sort incurred as the result of your dealings with a not-for-profit organisation or as a result of you using this site or its services. Your correspondence or dealings with any not-for-profit organisation or any other third parties are solely between you and those not-for-profit organisations or third parties. We are making no recommendation in relation to the appropriateness of any volunteering opportunity.
